Mission AAR

Previous aircraft - Dolly with Ale - lost on mission to Mannheim.
Previous aircraft - Dolly with Ale 2 - was lost on mission to Warnemunde.
Previous Aircraft - Cynthia - lost during Rostock mission.
Previous Aircraft - Cynthia 2 lost on Lubeck Mission.
Previous aircraft - Whitby Warrior lost on Osnabruck mission

Mission 14 - Lost one engine (E-2) to enemy gunfire. Lost second engine, (E-3) due to apparent mechanical failure. On approach to target, Engine 3 caught fire, which was fortunately extinguished. Fire not caused by enemy gunfire or AA, as we were not being attacked when it happened, nor do we believe the engine had been hit by previous enemy gunfire. We flew home on two engines at low altitude due to oxygen systems being damaged/destroyed by enemy gunfire. GT-K will need at least several days to repair/replace damaged bits and systems. I'm told Cpl. Hawkins to be replaced by Sgt. Frank Belville-Smythe.

Mission 15 - Made it to target city, bombed with estimated 92% accuracy. Shot down by Ju88 after bomb run. Five crewmen captured; two crewmen evaded capture and escaped.
